About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Finance Consultant to join our client’s team in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will be bringing finance transformation, costing, ERP finance design, MIS, financial controls, and compliance. The role focuses on reviewing client finance functions, designing costing and reporting frameworks, improving COA and cost structures, supporting finance-side ERP implementation, and enabling system-driven financial reporting, control, and decision- making.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review client accounting, finance, ERP, and reporting practices.
Analyze COA structure, transaction flow, cost centers, profit centers, and reporting dimensions.
Review compliance alignment with IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and regulatory requirements.
Define finance requirements, costing logic, workflows, controls, and reporting outputs for ERP implementation.
Translate finance requirements into clear system logic for ERP and development teams.
Participate in UAT, system validation, and end-to-end finance process testing.
Design manufacturing costing, product costing, project costing, and cost allocation structures.
Review inventory valuation, landed cost, overhead allocation, and margin impact.
Support budgeting, cost control, budget vs actual analysis, and variance review.
Review management reports, MIS, dashboards, and identify automation opportunities.
Prepare finance SOPs, process documentation, control matrices, and audit checklists.
Streamline month-end closing, approval workflows, and financial control processes.
Prepare costing models, financial templates, MIS formats, and validation sheets.
Coordinate with client finance teams, management, ERP consultants, and development teams.
Present financial observations, costing gaps, control gaps, and improvement recommendations.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 8 years of experience in finance consulting, costing, manufacturing finance, ERP finance implementation, MIS/reporting, financial controls, or finance transformation roles.
Bachelor's in Commerce (B.Com) with MBA (Finance) or Certified CA Inter / CA / CMA / ACCA / CPA
Industry Experience in (Manufacturing & Industrial production environment/Project-based business/Trading and distribution/FMCG / food manufacturing) for Finance, Costing, or Consulting
Well versed with Microsoft Excel Advanced, ERP finance/costing module exposure, AI tool (hands-on)
Key Skills
Strong understanding of Accounts & finance processes
Strong knowledge in COA design & Flow
Understanding of IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and regulatory compliance
Experience in ERP current state analysis, implementation and system-driven workflows
Exposure to UAT, system validation, and end-to-end process testing
Ability to translate business requirements into system logic and workflows
Strong knowledge in Manufacturing, product, project costing Structure design
Strong knowledge in standard costing, actual costing, overhead allocation methods
Cost center, profit center, branch, department, and project-wise cost structure design
Inventory valuation and landed cost understanding
Budgeting, cost control, budget vs actual analysis
Management reporting, MIS design, dashboard concepts
Process documentation & audit frameworks
Understanding & hands on exposure of AI tools & automation acumen
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Client-facing communication and presentation skills
Language Skills
Fluent at English (written and spoken)
2nd Language will be considered a plus
Other Details:
Working days and hours : Monday to Friday (9 hrs/day) 8:30 until 17:30
Location: Currently in or willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE.
Travel/Mobility: Comfortable to to travel and work on-site with clients across international geographies during project phases
